Happy Hexagons

Want to join the Fresh Squeezed Stamps design team?  We're accepting applications now!  More info HERE!

Good morning!  Erin here with a card featuring Happy Hexagons, one of my favorite Fresh Squeezed Stamp sets.  I paired it with Words to Live By for a bright and colorful card.

Happy Hexagons                          Words to Live By

After I die cut the hexagons, I stamped four different designs using four different inks before adhering them to my card. I added the sentiment in black ink and then tied twine around the card to finish it off.  The perfect card for a crafty friend!

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to check back tomorrow for more inspiration using Fresh Squeezed Stamps!

Happy Saturday friends!  It's Heather Campbell here.  I hope you're having a great start to your weekend!

I love building patterns and shapes so Trendy Triangles was very fun for me to play with to create my card.

I stamped the solid triangle repeatedly to create a hexagon shape.  Then I used the "arrowhead" to create the chevron pattern.  The sentiment is from Words to Live By.

Stitched Starry Banner

Hello!  It's Heather Campbell here! Today I'm sharing a card I made still inspired by the stitched stars from Weather Through.  When I saw the stitching, I completely envisioned these stars being stitched and tied together.  So, I had to bring it to life on a card.

The bows are from String Me Along and the sentiment is from Words to Live By.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Friends are Like Stars

Good morning!  Erin here with a sparkly card, perfect for sending to a friend! I used the fabulous sentiment stamp set Words to Live By plus lots of glitter. :)

The sentiment is one image, but I used a sticky note to mask off the top of the image before stamping onto coral cardstock. I embellished the small stars with coral pearls. I die cut the stars, covered them in double sided tape, then dumped on matching glitter (from Martha Stewart). I used matching twine to thread the buttons before adhering them to my card with glue dots.

(Supplies - Stamps: (Fresh Squeezed Stamps) Words to Live By. Ink: (Ranger) Archival Black Ink. Cardstock: Melon Berry, Enchanted Evening, Spring Rain, Shimmer white paper. Patterned paper: Blueberry Sky patterns pack. Dies: Seeing Stars. Other: Buttons, twine, glitter, pearls.)

Be You

Hello and Happy Saturday! It's Maureen here with some Fresh Squeezed inspiration for you.

Today I've used a sentiment from Words to Live By and made it my focal point.  I added some background stamping to ground my design using Background Check.  The bright colored flowers are a nice contrast to this mostly black & white design.  A simple card that really packs a punch!

Come back tomorrow for more Fresh Squeezed inspiration.

It's Maureen here on the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Blog.  I've been making a lot of cards lately and I mean A LOT.  However, I haven't been putting anything away.  This is very unlike me.  I'm usually pretty good about putting my scraps away.  Lately though, it's all gotten away from me.  I decided that if I'm not cleaning them up, I better start using them.

Everything on this card had been cut for and never used on another project.  Funny how my unused pieces could come together and make such a fun and trendy card.  Challenge yourself do the same and see what you come up with!

Comfort, Strength & Peace

Just a little how-do-you-do here.  I thought I'd share another card using the Words To Live By set:

Sympathy cards are never easy to make or send, but I like the sentiment here, and the design is really simple, yet not bland.  All the images/sentiments in the Words To Live By set are perfect for every occasion.

We'd love to see what you make with this set (it's one of my favorites).  Stop by tomorrow -- enjoy your day!

Comfort, Strength & Peace

It's Maureen here today.   I hope you enjoyed the new release festivities this week and added some fun new sets to your cart :)

My card is one no one likes to have to make.  Sympathy cards are by far the hardest to make.  I find it best to keep some on hand so that I don't have to make one when one is needed.

Butterflies and soft colors are my go-to for sympathy cards.  They are soothing and evoke healing.  I used a beautiful sentiment from the Words to Live By set and paired it with a little scrolly flourish I found hiding in the newly released, The Envelope, Please.  It works perfectly as a butterfly trail, don't you think?

Thanks for stopping by today.  Come back tomorrow for more Fresh Squeezed inspiration!

Creativity

Hi, It's Maureen here with some Fresh Squeezed inspiration.  Today's project combines two new sets from the April release, Words to Live By and On Trend 2013.

This sentiment is so true, wouldn't you agree?  I find that if I continually make cards, the ideas come quickly, but if I stop for a few days or a week, I have a hard time finding my mojo.

This card would be perfect for a crafty friend or a budding artist.  Perhaps a student going off to art school?  So many possibilities!

Happy Thursday!  Val here today sharing with you a birthday card for my daughter who turns 20 today.  How fun to be able to make her a card to show on my "day" here on the FSS blog using the cute high top from String Me Along!  (She is the proud owner of a new pair of black Converse, so how appropriate!)

I also used Words to Live By and You Said It, Sister to create this card whose layout was inspired by none other than FSS very own Amy K.
