Guest Designer Extraordinaire!

It's time to reveal and welcome our fabulous guest designer!

We are so excited to have Emily Leiphart guesting for us this month.  Emily has designed for many manufacturers in the paper crafting industry and has been published in Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking, CARDS and CardMaker magazines.  She has also won both the prestigious World Card Making Day and Stamping Royalty contests hosted by Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking magazine.  Please welcome Emily for the next four Sundays as she creates with our January release!

Today Emily's sharing a card she made using several of our love themed clear stamp sets. Can you name them?  There's Subway Series: Spring on the background, then both When Hearts Collide and Love Signs make an appearance in the die-cut heart shapes. Such a clever design - sophisticated and charming all in one!

Spring is Coming!

Yes, Easter is on it's way and I just love this fun springtime and Easter stamp from the Subway Series: Spring set!



I first stamped the background with the super fun scalloped border from the Background Check set in a variety of soft, springtime colors. I then stamped and heat embossed the subway art image over that.

A few little buttons and some twine finish off the design!

For those of you that don't know, I'm a HUGE fan of the color green!

Here's today's card:

See that polka dot panel?  It's washi tape that I've been hoarding...I covered a panel of cardstock with it.    Good grief ladies, why oh why do we hoard washi when there are a bazillion yards on the spool?

I'm a gigantic fan of heat embossing.  I love the sheen, the texture and the POP that goes along with it.   Something that I just discovered within the last 2 years is the ever helpful Embossing Buddy:

Check out the difference in the panels...although granted sometimes I like that messy Tim Holtz look....

Be Mine!

Happy Monday, folks! This is Jennifer Ingle here with a brand new Valentine's Card inspiration for you! I used the absolutely fabulous Subway Series: Spring set for my card today. I actually stamped the image three times to allow it to go all the way across the front panel of my card.

I stamped the image with Versamark once on black paper and embossed it with white, cut out the Be Mine and popped it up to make it the primary sentiment focus on my card. Just another super fun way to use these great Subway Series sets!

Release Week Day 4: Subway Series: Spring

Welcome to our January Release Week - Day 4 festivities!! We're finishing off our release week with a new twist on one of our most popular stamp sets!  You asked for it, and we delivered!

Subway Series: Spring is the next in our series of subway art stamps, which pay homage to the celebrations of spring!  Your Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter cards are sure to be one-of-a-kind hits.  Our subway series images make for super easy, super fun cards. (each image is approximately 1½” x 3½”)

Now for some inspiring projects using Subway Series: Spring from some of our new designers!

Maureen Merritt designed this lovely concoction of pink and red!  We love that she's mixed her inks to highlight the tiny icons embedded in the stamp.  The blinged out heart and double bakers twine and button make this card shine!

Amy Tsuruta has gone tech on us with her Valentine's Day card!  She's used the Chalkboard technique on a black panel bordered with glitter - yum!!  We love the subtle floral images peeking from behind the image and the inside of her card - it's decorated too!

Jennifer Ingle has created this bright and lively creation using the St. Patrick's Day stamp from the set.  We love how she made the stamp the focus of her card but still has lots of fun little tidbits everywhere for interest.  We love all the details on this card!
