An Old Favorite...

Hello Fresh Squeezed friends!  Shannon here to share a favorite FSS set and a project made using Friendly Folk...

There are two types of cards I use the most (and I don't think this is exclusive to little ol' me) - birthday and thank you cards.  I've loved the tradition of the pineapple as a symbol of hospitality and welcome, and thought it would be perfect for thank you notes.

I wanted a clean, simple card so I just stamped the pineapple image onto the blank card front, along with the sentiment from You Said It, Sister, then added a second Copic-colored pineapple image with a bit of foam for height.

Boxed Set

Here's the boxed set of thank you note cards...always a good idea to keep a hostess gift on hand!

Remember, our Spring Cleaning Sale in our online store begins tomorrow!  We've vacuumed 30% off three great sets, but only for a few days, so don't miss out on grabbing your favorites, old and new!

Hot Diggity, It's a SALE!

We do things BIG here at Fresh Squeezed Stamps -- not only do we have a Black Friday sale today, we're extending this awesome sale through Cyber Monday!!

That's right, take 20% off every stamp set in our store this weekend only (Friday, November 29 through Monday, December 2, 2013). Grab all your favorites, and don't forget your crafty friends -- throw their faves into the basket, too! Our stamps make great gifts, and they're super easy to mail to friends near and far. So, start checking your list (do it twice) and then take advantage of the biggest Fresh Squeezed discount so far this year!!

Whew, that's a lot of excitement for one day, right?  But, we couldn't let you go without showing off a couple fresh takes on an old favorite, We Go Together.

We Go Together

Ryann created this fun Christmas scene using the milk and cookies from We Go Together, the straw from Soda-lighted and a sweet sentiment from Christmas Treats.

Ryann Salamon

Shannon used the knife and fork from We Go Together, along with some yummy gold pigment ink to create the background. Then some brown ink to stamp the Thanksgiving image from Subway Series: Holidays.

That's it for us today!  We hope you're enjoying the long holiday weekend.  Be sure to check us out tomorrow for another installment of FSS Friends Showcase!  See you then!  :)

Comfort, Strength & Peace

Just a little how-do-you-do here.  I thought I'd share another card using the Words To Live By set:

Sympathy cards are never easy to make or send, but I like the sentiment here, and the design is really simple, yet not bland.  All the images/sentiments in the Words To Live By set are perfect for every occasion.

Words to Live By

We'd love to see what you make with this set (it's one of my favorites).  Stop by tomorrow -- enjoy your day!

When you create a project using Fresh Squeezed Stamps and upload it to Splitcoaststampers, please use the keyword FreshSqueezedStamps (all smooshed together). We thought to help get things started, we'd offer a little incentive!  :)

Help us get our first 40 gallery entries at Splitcoaststampers using the keyword FreshSqueezedStamps and we'll pick a random FSS gallery uploader to receive a FREE stamp set of their choice!!

Now, on to the fun stuff!  Shannon's got some glittery goodness to share with us today. She's used Winter Wonderland to create this paper pieced winter scene.  Love the glitter "snow" and the orange door.  So fun!!!
