Last Call!

Hi All - Today is the last day to apply for our current design team call.  If you love Fresh Squeezed Stamps, we hope you'll give it a shot!  :)

Fresh Squeezed Stamps (FSS) is having a Design Team Call!  We are looking for six (6) designers for a four-month term beginning November 1, 2013. 

DT Perks

1.     All designers receive our entire “new release” each month. (2-4 stamp sets, depending 
   on the size of the release).

2.     All designers receive a 30% discount to our online store.

3.     Name, bio and blog link on FSS blog.

4.     A supportive Facebook group to communicate with FSS and other DT members.

DT Requirements

1.     One (1) project per “new release” stamp set received during release week and 
   one (1) project during non-release weeks.

2.     Weekly post on FSS blog with a complimentary post on your personal blog.

3.     Watermarks on all FSS project pictures (we provide watermark).

4.     DT blog button for display on personal blog.

All applicants should have an active blog, participate regularly on social media outlets, take great pictures and love to stamp!  You should also be able to meet deadlines, be communicative and share a positive attitude.  Before applying, please visit the Fresh Squeezed Stamps website and blog to be sure we are a good fit for your design style: www.freshsqueezedstamps.com

I'm a huge fan of Saturday Farmer's Markets!  I'm lucky to live in area where there are a couple that I can hit on the weekend!

I'll be honest, I only like cooked carrots and carrot cake, LOL....but I wanted to pop those carrots from the Mother Knows Best set into that fun berry basket from The Sweet Life.

I used a SRM sticker for the sentiment.

Chunyuan Wu: Dahlia Memories

I am a researcher in the public health science area.  I live with my husband and two boys in suburban Seattle, WA.  I found out about the world of card making in Feb 2011 when I decided to help my preschooler to make Valentine cards for his class. I had a lot more fun than he did and never stopped since then.  I love the process of card making that helps bring out my inner creative spirit.  I love all aspects of paper crafts – color, patterns, embellishments, and techniques.   Now I have become a voracious reader of the online world of card making blogs. I feel so privileged to be part of this inspiring community!  I am really honored to be part of the DT. 

Maureen Merritt: Mama Mo Stamps

I am so excited and honored to be joining the Design Team at Fresh Squeezed Stamps.  I truly found my passion when I discovered stamping 7 years ago.   I am a Clean & Simple stamper, period.  Though I dabble in other styles occasionally, I always return to the CAS style.  When I'm not in my stamp room, you can find me spending time with my husband Douglas, our two children, Conner & Ethan, and our three Siberian cats!  Though paper crafting is my first love, I also enjoy photography, reading, hiking and taking Tae Kwon Do with Conner.  I'm looking forward to sharing my passion with you!

New Design Team - Reveal #2

There are lots of new things coming out of Fresh Squeezed Stamps this month, and we're pretty excited to share the first of them.  We've chosen a design team and we'd like you to meet the new members.  We began with Amy Tsuruta and Jennifer Ingle in yesterday's post.  Now let us introduce you to two more super talented Fresh Squeezed Stamps design team members:

Val Stangle:  Stampin' Gal Val

Having been creative my whole life, I stumbled upon stamping back into 2002 at a home party that I attended and have been hooked ever since.  I love everything about creating with stamps, ink and paper and the way I give a piece of myself to each and every creation I make.  One small box of supplies has morphed into cupboards, shelves, and an entire section of our family room devoted to all things stamping and papercrafting.  I have been married for 21 years to Jay; we have 2 kids together, Morgan and Brett, and he raised my first son, Kyle as his own.  I have been a SAHM for the past 20 years, volunteering at schools and around the community.  Riley, our 10-year old rescue pup, keeps me company during the day when the house is quiet.  When I am not stamping, you'll find me out walking Riley, exploring San Diego's hiking trails, reading or watching movies and running the Stangle household here at home in Santee.

Amy Kolling: Stamp-n-Paradise

My name is Amy Kolling and I am a full time wife, mom, and dialysis nurse!  When I'm not doing the everyday things, I love to sit down and create.  It's just the perfect thing to help me relax.  I started this hobby with scrapbooking my wedding a long time ago but it wasn't until I asked about a company's stamp catalogue that I fell in love with stamping! I have found so many great friends along the way and could never replace them. I enjoy so many styles of stamping that I'm not sure exactly what style "I" am! For me, it depends on the challenge or stamp set, as to what type of card I create! I was honored to be in Paper Crafts Gallery Idol 2012 Top 5 this summer. My cards for that contest I think reflect my style more than anything I've done. I am currently on a few design teams and it's so much fun!!  I'm very excited to join the Fresh Squeezed Stamps family!!!

Welcome to January, and to a brand new year!  And while we're welcoming things, let's welcome our brand new DESIGN TEAM!!!

First, we want to thank each and every talented person that submitted an application. We appreciate your moxie for throwing your hat in, as they say.  There were SO many fantastic applicants that it was very difficult to whittle the list down, but we did manage to find six paper crafters extraordinaire and we want to introduce the first two:

She lives in Maple Valley, WA.  She's the proud mother of two lovely kids and is engaged to "thee most spectacular guy" who supports her crafting obsession.  She works full-time for a design firm in Seattle, has been blogging since 2007, and absolutely loves being part of this crafting community.  Amy loves to inspire and BE inspired!

Jennifer Ingle: Just Jingle

I am me. I am a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I am an artist. I am a crafter.  I laugh. A lot.  I really really love to make stuff!  I am super excited to be a part of the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Design Team and can't wait to share some fun designs with you!
