Release Week Day 4: Background Check

Welcome to our February Release Week - Day 4 festivities!! We're finishing off our release week with a stamp set that has quickly become a Fresh Squeezed favorite!

Background Check gives you lots of ways to add pizzazz to your projects – grunge, grain, ledger and more!  Create new images by combining them…Roman aqueduct, pop beads or postage stamp?  These five clear stamps are perfect for card making and more!

(each measures approximately ¾” x 5½”)

The design team are back at it again today with some Background Check inspiration:

Val Stangle put together this super fun and inspirational composition book using the grid and "washi" borders.  What kid wouldn't love to receive this as a surprise slipped into their backpack?!  Awesome!!  The sentiment is from You Said It, Sister and the star is from another new set, Weather Through.

Chunyuan Wu used the "washi" border (both the front AND the back!) to create this fun graphic card.  We love her use of color and the diagonal design rocks!  She also snuck in a sentiment from You Said It, Sister - love this!!

Jennifer Ingle created this lovely little ditty using the wood grain and scalloped borders included in the set.  We love the addition of the patterned washi tape, wood veneers and bakers twine.  All in all, an awesome combination!

Amy Tsuruta stitched together this fun little scene!  We love the popped up owl on the leafy background.  Sooo cute!!

Maureen Merritt stamped this colorful card using the polka-dot bellied owl.  We love the assortment of colors and the fun flags attached with a staple.  It's completely adorable!!

Release Week Day 2: Trendy Triangles

Welcome to our February Release Week Day 2 festivities!!  One of the trends we've seen come out from last month's CHA show are triangles!  What perfect timing for us, as we have a new set that's loaded with them!

Trendy Triangles is perfect for building a gorgeous border, trendy backgrounds, or even a popular pie chart!  This set has a dozen triangles, four with rounded ends, and all with fun patterns.  There are even images to build your own chevron border!  The five sentiments make short work of creating the perfect card for any occasion.

(triangles measure approximately ¾”; longer sentiments just over 2”)

We've got some stellar projects made using Trendy Triangles by some of our design team:

Amy Kolling used the chevron pie piece to create this fun birthday card!  We love the different colored "slices" and the graphic nature of this card.  Would be great for either boy or girl!

Maureen Merritt has used the triangles in the set to create this patterned project.  We love the soft colors she used and the placement of the sentiment banner.  Awesome!

Amy Tsuruta created this corked creation using the arrow head triangle included in the set.  We love her "shot through the heart" them - it pairs up perfectly with the miss you sentiment.  Super cute!!

Release Week Day 1: Weather Through

Welcome to our February Release Week Day 1 festivities!!  We are completely "over the moon" excited about today's stamp set reveal!  You may have seen some sneak peeks of this set if you've been over to the Paper Made Bakery blog lately...

Weather Through gives you all the “elements” for creating a meteorological miracle – made easy!  Imagine all the fun ways you’ll combine these images and sentiments, designing a cumulus stash of weather inspired projects.  There’s always a ray of hope for a sunny day when you’re stamping with Fresh Squeezed Stamps!

Jennifer Ingle has created this bright and cheerful card.  We love the doodling she added and the color palette just rocks!

Val Stangle has put together this lovely creation using the sun and clouds for the main focus.  She's used pattern paper to help create her scene.  We love the addition of the small bling in off to the side!

Amy Kolling created this uplifting card for someone in need of a little cheering up!  She used the BACKSIDE of the cloud stamp to create solid clouds to pair up with the solid rain drops.  Genius!!

February Release - Sneak Peek!
