Hang In There!

Hello Fresh Squeezed friends! It's Virginia here today sharing an encouragement/thinking of you card. Do you have someone that needs a little cheering up?

I did some paper-piecing and then scored the lanterns (on the left) to make it dimensional. Very easy to do yet so effective! The Basic Grey paper Konnichiwa seems to work perfectly with these lanterns from the stamp set called String Me Along.

Next time when you see your piles of pattern paper, don't forget to give paper-piecing a try! Thanks for stopping by!

Hello and a Card

Hello, Hello!  Heather Campbell here!  Today is my first post as a design team member for Fresh Squeezed Stamps.  I couldn't be more excited!  Thank you for the wonderful opportunity!

So let's get to the card...  For my first post, I thought I should do something very true to my style, something that shows a little of all of my favorite things.

I love the fun & cute style.  I love layering.  I love kraft and all things that sparkle.  So, check, check and check!

The background on the kraft and the pattern on the tag were stamped with Background Check and the speech bubble sentiment is from On Trend 2013.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

An Independence Day Card

Hi there! Leigh here with an Independence Day card (I know, I'm a day late!) that I had a lot of fun making, using Subway Series: Summer.

I ran some vellum through my diecutting machine with a woodgrain impression plate and stitched it to my cardstock background. Then, I stamped the sentiment three times on some grey patterned paper: first in Versamark, which I heat embossed with white embossing powder, then in red and then in a dark blue. I impressed it, too and then added it to my card using dimensional adhesive. Here's a close-up of the woodgrain texture -- so fun using this with the vellum!

Happy Birthday To You!

Good morning and Happy 4th of July! Erin here with a birthday card featuring several Fresh Squeezed Stamps: Happy Hexagons, On Trend 2013 and Background Check.

I used one of the hexagons from Happy Hexagons to create my background paper, alternating between six ink colors. After I stamped the background I filled in the empty spaces with a small circle stamp from On Trend 2013. The scalloped stamp from Background Check looks like streamers, which matched the birthday sentiment, so I stamped it on peach cardstock before adhering it to the background paper. A few buttons and frames from On Trend 2013 finishes off the card!

Happy (Early) Independence Day!

Hi Fresh Squeezed Stamps fans, Tracey here to wish all of my American Friends a very happy, early Independence Day!  It seems only fitting to use the Subway Series: Summer stamp set to create a card just for you!

I stamped the Independence Day stamp repeatedly on an angle in soft gray for the background, then I stamped it in navy, matted it and supported it with some star die cuts for a festive look.  The stamp set I used is Subway Series: Summer.

I hope you all have a wonderful day celebrating tomorrow with friends and family. Check back here tomorrow for more Fresh Squeezed fun!

Birthday Wishes

Hello and happy Tuesday, FSS fans! It's Heather here with a cheery little birthday card... Our weather has been gloomy lately, and this fun little color combo was just what I needed to give me a little pick me up.

To create my card, I started with an orange card base.  I stamped a row of polka dots from You Said It, Sister with white ink onto turquoise cardstock before cutting off the bottom strip and adhering both to the card front.  To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment in gray ink and added orange arrows to highlight my message using the Trendy Triangles set.

That's all from me for today.  Stop by tomorrow for more Fresh Squeezed Stamps inspiration!

From Me To You!

Happy Monday, Fresh Squeezed friends!  It's Virginia here!  Today we're officially kicking off our new design team to a great start!  What's more perfect to share than a card called "from me to you"?

I stamped the skyscraper in two colors to give it a more dimensional look. With a clear stamp on an acrylic block, it's really easy to do.  Then I stamped and embossed the small circles.  Add sequins...done!

The stamps I used are (sentiment)  Happy Hexagons

I hope this inspires you to mix your stamp sets and use colors in a creative way. Thanks so much for stopping by!
