Life is Better

Hi Fresh Squeezed Fans!  Tracey here with a card that mimics my feelings exactly this time of the year.  To create my sunshine I stamped the sun image from Weather Through then without re-inking, I stamped it again by rotating the stamp slightly to create a glow.  I then stamped the flip flops from Beachy Keen and colored them with Copic markers.  Many of the Fresh Squeezed Stamps are perfect for coloring.

I hope you have a sunshiny day today and come back tomorrow for more Fresh Squeezed inspiration!

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone, Heather P. here today with another fun Fresh Squeezed card I created using a couple of different stamp sets.

To create my card, I first started with a medium tone gray card base (cut slightly smaller than 4 1/4" wide) which I stamped with the polka dot strip from You Said It, Sister.  After stamping all the rows, they were covered with clear embossing powder and heat embossed.  Next, I cut a strip of patterned paper and trimmed the ends to give it a banner shape.

Then I stamped a bunch of the fruit images from Sublime Citrus onto white cardstock and heat embossed them with turquoise and lime embossing powder.  To finish up, I stamped the sentiment, punched out and layered the fruit, then added my ribbon and bow.

That's it for me today, but be sure to come back tomorrow for more FSS inspiration!  :)

Flip Flops in Neon!

Happy Monday, dear Fresh Squeezed friends! It's Virginia here! I hope you are enjoying summer so far...now you may want to put on sunglasses for today's card! It sure is bright and cheery!

surf and sand (July 29)

I used the newly released Beachy Keen set to create my summer fun card.
Here are the special features of this card:

1. Stamp both flip flops on a thin piece of paper, then cut them out. Use them for masking.
2. Stamp the back side of the flip flops to create the solid image. I started with the blue ones first. You can start from the middle/right if you prefer.
3. Stamp the positive side to stamp the flip flops (continue with masking).
4. Squeeze droplets of Liquid Pearls to create sand and add detail to flip flops.
5. Stamp the sentiment in neon green, and then in black .

Beachy Keen

This new set is FULL of possibilities. Can you see the summer fun that I see? Thanks for stopping by!

Release Week Day 3 - Beachy Keen

You can practically hear the waves crashing on the shore, right?!  We've made it to Day 3 of our July Release Week and here is our final reveal...

Beachy Keen is a smart set filled with fun images sure to conjure thoughts of sun, sand and surf.  Spend a relaxing day by the lake or sea -- build a scene or choose your favorite beachy icon!  There are a dozen images and sentiments that will have you humming Beach Boys tunes and looking for your SPF 45.

Beachy Keen
Erin Taylor kicks off her flip flops and sticks her toes in the sand -- and you should too after playing with all the "beachy" fun images in this new set!  Her fantastic choice of colors and patterns here remind us of our favorite beach towel..grab your Ray Bans and join us!

We've given you lots of options to make your beach day great, and Tracey McNeely shows you how it's done!  She's added the bright sunshine from the Weather Through set, and her sand looks soft and warm!  Grab your favorite beach read and enjoy yourself!

On the boardwalk, down by the sea...Leigh Penner's rustic impression is, well, impressive!  Gorgeous colors and textures abound, and her blast of bright yellow on that pretty chevron beach umbrella is just perfect.

We didn't forget to add some fun sentiments to the set, and Virginia Lu's not crabby about using this one!  She's done a wonderful job with creating a virtual sandy beach, complete with seashells, then added watercolor waves for great effect.  She's nailed this one!

Heather Pulvirenti's bold use of color, texture and dimension really reminds us of the good times of summertime!  Her heat embossed flip flops and aqua banner are the perfect focal point.

Ship ahoy, matey!  This little guy's in for nautically good time.  Keren Baker did a great job bringing the waves to life with beautiful hand drawn details, and those tiny sailboat flags are just too cute for words!

Heather Campbell's future's so bright, she's gotta wear lots of multi-colored shades!!  Did you notice how she used the sentiment from our new Sublime Citrus set?  Our stamps have "versatility" written all over them!

Release Week Day 2 - Sublime Citrus

It had to be done.  With a name like Fresh Squeezed Stamps, a set like this just had to be created and we did it with love!  Welcome to Day 2 of our July Release Week - let us introduce you to a very special stamp set...

Sublime Citrus is a sunshine-filled array of citrusy delights, including lots of fun puns, ensure friendly cards will be created with this juicy set.  Lemons, limes and oranges -- from blossom to ice cold beverage -- just need some ink and your creative imagination!

Sublime Citrus

Heather Pulvirenti shows off this sweet saying with adorable embossed and handmade "die cut" images from the new set!  This baby is patio perfect -- ready for those little sugar packets and a tall glass of something cool to drink!

OK, who just giggled?!  Tracey McNeely took this one and ran with it -- perfect color, shape, texture -- dare we say it?  It's a sunny delight!!

Erin Taylor's used the citrus image as a fabulous background then set up her "picnic table" (using an image from Background Check) for a lemonade party!  Gotta love the twine tied snuggly above that punny sentiment!

It's sweet and sour with Heather Campbell's card -- she's used the slice o' citrus to tag this card HAPPY!  She added a few enamel dots and the graph paper image from Background Check to finish off this beauty -- mwah!

A tall glass and pitcher full of lemonade...isn't that the epitome of summertime?  Leigh Penner's used vellum and embossed the images to really give them that glassy look...ah, Fresh Squeezed goodness!

Virginia Lu's inked up and stacked those lemons perfectly!  Love how the black patterned paper strip and those sequins add so much POP to this card -- it's a zinger!

Keren Baker's used another awesome technique to give this pitcher a glassy (or shall we say Glossy [Accents]?) effect.  Love how she has her ice cubes tumbling from the pitcher to the glass -- and the stitching for the lemonade stream? FanTABulous!!  Lovin' the easy, breezy sentiment, too!

All stamps previewed during Release Week will be available for purchase in our online store beginning this Friday, July 26th!

Everyday Expressions

Birthdays are the number one occasion for card making and Tracey McNeely starts us off with this sweet card adding several of the floral images, a beautiful color combo, and some great stitching and bling to finish it off!

Ah, such sweet colors to brighten this garden of birthday wishes!  Erin Taylor takes the variety of floral images in the set to a new level by layering the images and then piecing them onto the trendy stem/vine.  Love the textures!

This beauty by Leigh Penner has a rustic backyard feel to it -- those pretty flowers growing along the fence add a whimsical feel to the great combination of sentiments.

POP goes the color on this gorgeous card by Heather Pulvirenti!  Those bright orange embossed flowers are the perfect touch to this sentiment of gratitude.  This one just sings summertime!

Heather Campbell's added extra charm to her birthday card and the new Everyday Expressions set -- she's used an image from Background Check for the border and some scrumptious enamel dots.  Love how it's all balanced on a kraft card base...perfect!

Soft and bright, this ingenious card by Virginia Lu puts you right into her friendship garden!  Her use of white space and dimension simply sets her art apart!

Can you see the confetti flying and hear the shouts of well wishers in Keren Baker's take on Everyday Expressions?!  Lots of clever going on here -- welcome to the party!

July Release -- Sneak Peek!

We've got THREE new Fresh Squeezed stamp sets coming soon and thought you might want a little sneaky peek:

We've also got a terrific guest designer on board for this release and we're pretty thrilled to have her here.  She hails from across the Pond, in jolly ol' England -- it's Keren Baker!!  She's an outstanding paper crafter and she's got a superb sense of humor as well, so we thought we'd let her introduce herself...

I'm a mum of 6, born and raised in England. I live in lovely Liverpool (home of the Beatles and the amazing 'scouse' accent). I have one hubby who is pretty supportive of my love of craft & I'm really lucky to be able to spend most of my working day demonstrating, teaching or preparing craft projects for magazines. I love crafting cards, although when time permits, I'm really happy scrapbooking, making mini books, etc., and one of my more recent creative forays is felting. Stamping is probably my favourite technique & I'm really honoured to have been asked to guest design for Fresh Squeezed Stamps.

So there you have it -- with our new design team AND an awesome guest designer in residence, there's just so much to look forward to!  See you back right here tomorrow morning for our first reveal!

DIY Washi Tape

Happy Saturday, friends!  It's Heather C here!  Today I'm sharing a card I made using one of my favorite techniques, masking and daubing to create a faux washi tape!

To make the washi tape, I simply masked where I wanted my layers of "washi tape" to go, and then stamped with Background Check and then used an ink dauber to fill in just a little bit of color!  Super easy and I love the effect!  The speech bubble sentiment is from On Trend 2013.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Love You Lots

Hey there! Leigh here with a 'love" card to share.

Sometimes I'm drawn to a single stamp in a set and I must have it. This was the case for me with the Breath of Fresh Flair stamp set -- I was totally drawn to that little canning jar image! Here's a card that I made with it.

I stamped the little jars repeatedly on my card and added some die cut hearts to fill them all! I just think they look so sweet!

I also added some banners with my sentiments. I used some alphabet diecuts for "lots" and stamped the "love you" from You Said It, Sister.

Thanks so much for stopping by & have a great weekend!

String Me Along | Birthday

Good morning! Erin here with another card using the fabulous String Me Along set that I can't seem to put down.

For this card, I used the cute little lantern/light to create a birthday card. I love how each of the images hangs from the large "string" image... so cute for birthday and celebration cards! I stamped the light with Memento ink, then colored in the bulb and lid of the jar with Copic markers. I added the "Happy Birthday to You" sentiment (from Happy Hexagons) in black Archival Ink. I added a few hand cut banners and some sequins to finish off the card

That's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
